Hii GRIND in Newcastle upon Tyne

"me and my friend have eyed up HiiGrind for a while now passing on the bus home from work so we decided to walk there recently and try out their food and drinks. it did not disappoint! we got açaí bowls each, an almond croissant to share and an ice latte and everything was spot on you couldn’t fault the food at all! the staff were super friendly and patient as my friend can be quite fussy deciding on what she wants to eat but overall a brilliant place to chill out and meet with friends! the location is absolutely perfect being on the town moor so if you want a snack before or after a run or just want to enjoy a nice bite to eat with a view it’s perfect with its modern style including floor to ceiling windows or out door benches to enjoy the views. i will say i wish there was a physical menu to read off of as the menu online is a little glitchy and confusing to use but i’m sure it’ll be fixed with it being a fairly new place. overall i cannot fault anything with the food, people or location just a little menu fix! we’ll definitely be returning ^~^"

"The energy here - raw and real In Gen Z terms, it’s lit I remember driving by this cafe and promising myself I’d be here to try it out - it looks sooooo inviting from the outside, especially in this cold weather. Little did I realise that the Hii Club is here - an electrifying concept to gym life and exercise. So here I am today, while the wife sweats it out in the gym, while I chill with Baby Ru and have a cuppa. Beautiful latte art. The coffee I had was lovely. Very very friendly staff, and the energy here - exercise buffs + cafe vibes - it’s fun energy. I sit here and sip on my cuppa while taking in the entire vibe. The cafe was full when I arrived. Despite being with a baby stroller, there’s ample space to manoeuvre. Favourites that are served here: the banana bread, the pralines, and the açai bowl. That will perhaps be something to try next time. Definitely will be back, especially when the wife goes for a workout, and I’ll just be chilling in the cafe."

"Great coffee shop in the area. Quite modern and minimal space that also features a gym. Easily accessible for baby prams and there's space to move around although there's no high chairs. We loved the coffee beans even for black coffee and they also have a tasty selection of treats. I had the cinnamon bun and it was lush. It can be a bit noisy at times but it was fine for the babies overall. Will definitely visit again."

"We stopped for a coffee and sandwich here and really enjoyed the quality of food and the ultra modern venue. The matcha drink was incredibly tasty and something I would get again. The tuna avacado sandwich was perfectly filled with great ingredients and one of the best I’ve had. The service was genuinely friendly and welcoming. A really great place to visit."

"Love Hi Grind in Newcastle – such a good spot for a relaxed coffee and something healthy. The açai bowl was absolutely spot on: fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour, with a really generous topping of fruit, granola and coconut. You can tell everything is high quality and thoughtfully put together. The coffee was excellent too – smooth, well-balanced and perfectly made. A great combination if you want something refreshing but still indulgent."
